"Welcome to the family" is written above the entrance to Gelateria Laurini in Burghausen. We can say the same in the meantime to the owner family Lauria, who do not fully trust us in their first project. We asked the family a few questions.

 

How long have you been thinking about opening an ice cream parlour?

"We already had our own ice cream parlour in the old town of Burghausen. We were thinking of taking over an existing ice cream parlour, even a little further away. But then the opportunity spontaneously arose to plan and set up a new ice cream parlour from scratch after all."

How did the cooperation with Krä come about?

"We had already realised our first ice cream café with Krä. The cooperation was great in every respect and so it was no question for us that we also wanted to plan and implement the new ice cream café together with Krä."

What was your first impression of Krä?

"We were impressed by the immense know-how from the very first moment. And the fact that we could clarify all questions with one contact person and plan and implement all project phases together was a huge relief."

What aspects of the collaboration with Krä did you particularly like?

"The open exchange! We could always talk about everything at any time. And if something was unclear or stalled, we always found a solution quickly together with Maximilian."

What was the biggest surprise during the planning and construction phase of your ice cream parlour?

"Fortunately, there was only a small delay in the delivery of the laminate elements. Otherwise, everything went like clockwork."

Did your ice cream parlour turn out the way you wanted it to?

"Yes, definitely!"

What do you like best about owning and running your own ice cream parlour?

"A dream has come true! Mario comes from a family that ran ice cream parlours, so he was able to follow in his father's footsteps, so to speak. So it was even nicer for us to run our own ice cream parlour and to design it exactly as we had imagined.

What advice do you give to people who also dream of owning their own ice cream parlour or café?

"If you have the dream of owning your own ice cream parlour, you should do everything you can to make it a reality!"
