Off to new shores!

The roots of our company already go back three generations and more than 70 years: Alois Krä GmbH was founded in 1949, and for more than 55 years (more precisely since 1963) we have been importers of the world market leader for ice cream technology, the Carpigiani company. The two managing directors, Peter and Maximilian Krä, run the owner-managed family business in the second and third generation respectively.

After more than 70 years, the next step in the company's development now follows. In January 2021, Krä Eistechnik Süd-West GmbH started operations as a sister company of the parent company Alois Krä GmbH in the beautiful Filderstadt-Bernhausen in Baden-Württemberg, located directly at Stuttgart Airport.

To this end, we have taken over the Carpigiani area representation for the General Market, the premises and a large part of the Carpigiani core team from the company Frozen Brothers, formerly Carpigiani Deutschland GmbH.

This means that in future we will be the exclusive Carpigiani importer for large parts of Bavaria, Saxony and Baden-Württemberg

Many people already know the premises at 111 Echterdinger Str. in Filderstadt-Bernhausen from the Gelato University seminars that Carpigiani Germany organised and held there for many years.

And for those who have never been there: Our branch is well equipped and conveniently located with optimal connections to Stuttgart Airport, the S-Bahn and the motorway.

With the gentlemen Alexander Epp (Managing Director of Carpigiani Deutschland GmbH for many years), Mark Heidenreich (former Carpigiani factory technician and CQS representative for Germany) and Claudia Dias (Team Assistance Carpgiani Germany), an extremely experienced and competent team of long-standing industry experts takes care of our Filderstadt branch - you can't get more Carpigiani expertise than that!

The three "Stuttgarter" are supported by our proven team of 20 from Straubing. In addition to the product specialists from Lower Bavaria, who also take care of order processing and special enquiries for the southern German region, our head office also handles all administrative tasks.

Krä Eistechnik Süd-West GmbH is not only the exclusive distributor of the Carpigiani Professional product range (the complete portfolio of Carpigiani ice cream technology and soft ice cream machines) for large parts of Baden-Württemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, but of course also offers our proven full range of technology for the ice cream industry in this area:
