Design in the ice cream café - an interactive case study

In today's article we would like to write little, but rather let pictures speak.

When we work together with our customers Furnishing projects our customers often talk about design right from the start - about colors and materials, floors and walls, wood and granite. Sure - you're looking forward to the interior, you already have a color concept or style in mind, and you can't wait to start choosing colors and materials.

And us? We are the "killjoys" and push the topic of design to the very end! We deal with completely different topics first: Workplaces and workflows, walkways and sightlines. Just with the "invisible" store planning - and why it is so extremely important, you can read about it here..

Nevertheless, we do not want to neglect the topic of design in any way, quite the opposite. Because of course we know: It's not just the customer who has to feel comfortable in the restaurant at all times - the store operator does too, because after all, he spends considerably more time in his restaurant than in his living room.

So why are we pushing the design issue to the end?

Quite simple: Because with clever color and material selection, even at the very end, when workflows, walkways and workstations are perfectly planned, you can always give the establishment the design style you want. Because with the right "finish" you can turn one and the same floor plan into completely different stores with completely different characters.

And because pictures say more than a thousand words, we would like to invite you to try it out for yourself: Below you will find several views of one of our planned projects. All of these views are interactive, you can choose between two completely different color and material combinations. And you will be amazed how much the character of the same location changes. Just try it out - just move the slider to the left or right!

Two more case studies

And because it's just so nice, just two more examples to try out - once a relatively subtle change (only the color and material of the front counter change), and once a radical change of the complete design.
