Competence made in Italy - a new addition to the team Facilities

Our goal and aspiration is always to become even better, even more competent and even more complete - so that we can advise and look after you even more comprehensively, individually and "from A to Z" on all topics relating to ice cream.

But it is also clear that competence and good, creative people are rare. Just like a good football team, we keep a close eye on the transfer market - and when we see the chance to strengthen our team decisively, we take it.

For this reason, we are very pleased to be able to present to you today the most important transfer of the 2021/22 season of our shop fitting department: Valentina Fersini, our new interior designer in the team!

Living room of the guests, workplace of the operator

The furnishing of a bar or ice cream parlor must fulfil two completely different tasks.

For the guest , it is the "living room". The guest should feel right at home. At the same time, however, it is also important to encourage the guest to buy your products as unobtrusively as possible - because he or she should not only sit in the restaurant, but also consume. But it is also important not to show the guest everything, because no one wants to see the dirty dishes, the cleaning rags or the toilets when visiting a restaurant.

For the operator , on the other hand, the facility is his workplace. He should be able to work efficiently and effectively , in phases with little business also with as few staff as possible, in busy periods with a lot of staff - and without the staff getting in each other's way. He must have the customers in view at all times, ideally from every position. And the walkways in the shop must be designed in such a way that the staff can reach every place quickly and effectively. At the same time, neither the staff should be in the way of the customers, nor the customers in the way of the staff. And of course, the operator also wants to feel comfortable in his restaurant, because he usually spends much more time there than in his living room - so it should also be beautiful.

The moral of the story: planning furnishings that are simultaneously modern and timeless, practical and cosy, "visible" and "invisible" is anything but easy. And this is where Valentina Fersini comes in

As an "Interior & Industrial Designer", Valentina Fersini, who is an enthusiastic sailor and diver in her private life, from near the beautiful city of Ancona on the Italian Adriatic, has specialised in ice cream cafés and bars since 2001.

We are all the more pleased that all our interior design projects will be designed and implemented by Valentina in the future - because we have known her quality and ability for years, only unfortunately she did not always have exclusive time for us in the past. It's nice that this is now changing!
