Nobody needs ice cream! Ice cream is not a staple food like bread, meat or vegetables. You don't buy ice cream because you're hungry. But still, on nice days, customers line up to buy ice cream. Why?

We should all be aware of the principle "You don't need ice cream,you WANT ice cream" when presenting ice cream: Ice cream is not a product that sells itself - ice cream is purely an impulse product! As an ice cream seller, I have to present my product in such a way that the customer gets a desire for my product - that he thinks at a brief, casual glance at the display case: Wow, I need that! Now!

Imagine: You have great ice cream and nobody wants to try it...

Many of our customers are frustrated: They are - often rightly! - of the opinion to produce a great, artisanal, delicious ice cream with good ingredients. With high-quality products, according to old recipes and with a lot of love and heart and soul. But despite this, ice cream sales are continually declining - or to put it more clearly: Hardly anyone wants to buy it. Inexplicable!


Inexplicable? And then you take a closer look: In the corner is an old, unattractive display case with silent cooling, deep in the display case lies the ice cream, not visible to children and lovelessly presented. And it is not uncommon to find brown chocolate, red strawberry and yellow vanilla leftovers in what is actually white lemon ice cream. And suddenly you suspect why only die-hard regulars buy the ice cream: It may taste great, but it doesn't whet the customer's appetite - it doesn't scream "buy me!"


What do you learn from this? What good is great-tasting ice cream that unfortunately nobody tries because the presentation doesn't make you want ice cream? Exactly: very little...

In addition, you save cash, because new, modern showcases cause only a fraction of the electricity costs of an old showcase. So the investment in a new ice cream display case pays for itself much faster than you think. The shining eyes of the children and the joyful "Mom!!! Ice cream!!!" are free of charge.
