Our team introduces itself - Part 1: Management

We at Krä are not a large company, not part of an "investment holding", do not belong (to) any group of companies and do not have branches all over Europe.

We are a third-generation family business with around 20 employees - and many of them have been with us for a very, very long time (and will hopefully stay with us for a very long time).

And so that you can get to know the people behind the company a little better, we would like to introduce ourselves to you. We want to remain as we are in reality: open, human and with a twinkle in our eyes. 

And since the boss should lead by example, we start today with the management.

Our management

Our two managing directors Peter Krä and Maximilian Krä are the second and third Krä generation at Alois Krä GmbH, because the company was founded in 1949 by the eponym Alois Krä and his wife Anne Krä ( you can find more about our company history here).

Both of them take care of everything that a managing director has to take care of: Personnel and finances, customers and suppliers, banks and tax advisors, sales and financing, developing new strategies and working through old mistakes.

With Krä since: 1989

My education: Studies in economics, law and geography

My job at Krä: Managing director, confessor, caretaker with signing authority, field worker

My hobbies: My family, cycling, classical music and opera, football

My favourite ice cream: Nut

My worst quality: Impatient and too impulsive

My languages: Bavarian, English, a little Italian, some French and a little High German.

What I like to do: Contact with customers

And not that: paperwork

Maximilian Krä

With Krä since: 2008

My education: Graduate mathematician

My tasks: Kindergarten teacher, psychologist, cash cow, grievance officer, dispute mediator and managing director.

My hobbies: sports (mountain biking, tennis, bouldering, skiing), hiking, travelling, food, my children

My favourite ice cream: Pistachio

My worst trait: I'm extremely obnoxious when I'm hungry....

My languages: Bavarian, English, half Italian, a little Spanish and very little High German.

That's what I like to do: challenging projects with interesting clients, Italy fairs

And not that: I hate bureaucracy - and unfortunately there is more than enough of it...

Moreover, our managing directors see themselves as a "bridge" between Bavarian tradition and Italian dolce vita - and try to understand not only both languages but also both mentalities as well as possible. 

Does that work? Usually quite well, but like many things in life, unfortunately not always :)
