Our roots
Alois Krä GmbH was founded as early as 1949 by its namesake Alois Krä. Initially a classic refrigeration and air conditioning specialist with a focus on commercial refrigeration, shop fitting for food retailers and vehicle air conditioning, the foundation stone for today's company structure was laid as early as 1963.
Our collaboration with Carpigiani
Since 1963, we have been importers of the Carpigiani company, the world market leader in the field of ice cream and soft ice cream technology. Through regular visits to the Italian factories and conferences, we have acquired in-depth ice cream machine expertise.
Excellent - right from the start
Carpigiani founder Poerio Carpigiani already awarded our founders Alois and Änne Krä with the dealer prize back then.
We are a permanent fixture at trade fairs
In the following years, the focus of Alois Krä GmbH shifted more and more to the topic of ice cream, and we presented our product and service portfolio at numerous trade fairs, both then and now.
The second generation brings a breath of fresh (coffee) air
At the beginning of 1990, we expanded our range to include espresso machines. Peter Krä, the second generation at Krä, created a qualitative network of high-quality partners here.
Your all-ICE partner
In 2007, the third Krä generation came on board with Maximilian Krä. Both the exclusive sales territory for the world ice cream market leader Carpigiani and the range of services expanded further - the Krä company now also offers ice cream café equipment by renowned Italian designers and complete concepts. Straubing also becomes the German base of the "Gelato University Bologna".
Off to new shores - spaetzle and Palatinate stuffed pig's stomach
Then in 2021 came the latest step in the development of Krä Eistechnik: the sister company of Alois Krä GmbH, Krä Eistechnik Süd-West GmbH, opened a branch in Filderstadt near Stuttgart. For this purpose, we have not only taken over the premises, but also the core team of the former Carpigiani Deutschland GmbH and integrated them into our company. As a result, we will be Carpigiani's exclusive importer for Bavaria, Saxony, Thuringia and Baden-Württemberg from 2021.
